Slope Stabilization
Slope stabilization is necessary to secure an unstable foundation caused by erosion, soil moisture or any sort of ground movement. At Vertical Walls, we use earth anchors, articulated block mats and gabion baskets to achieve slope stabilization, slope protection and erosion control.
Earth anchors are driven directly into undisturbed soil or earth quickly and easily using conventional equipment and provide immediate proof-tested anchor points. Wire mesh gabion baskets form containers, that when filled with stone, provide an aesthetic method for retaining earth or controlling soil erosion.
- As a method for retaining earth, gabion baskets are stacked atop one another to form retaining walls, bridge abutments, bridge wing walls or culvert headwalls.
- For erosion control, articulated block mats are laid on the ground to develop bank protection, channel lining and slope stabilization.
Our professionally trained team has years of experience in achieving slope stabilization using the best methods possible.
